CEEOL Award for the Best Documentary Film

New Cooperation with goEast – Festival of Central and Eastern European Film

Frankfurt am Main, January 27,2022 – CEEOL, leading provider of Humanities and Social Science academic journals, eBooks and Grey Literature items from and about Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe is delighted to announce a new cooperation with goEast – Festival of Central and Eastern European Film. 
Already during 2021, CEEOL has supported goEast with indexing and including the Festival Catalogues 2001-2021 and Symposium Essays, that are available as open access content for the interested readership worldwide. 

CEEOL is most happy to broaden the collaboration with goEast by funding the CEEOL Award for the Best Documentary Film, that will be announced for the first time in the frame of the22nd goEast Festival (19-25. April 2022), and is endowed with 4,000 euros.

As a project of DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum, goEast has dedicated itself to the task of bringing the diversity and richness of Central and Eastern European cinema into “the heart of the West” and to strengthening the place of these prestigious films’ in the public consciousness.
